Ann-Mari has been singing since she could talk. As a self-taught musician apart from piano lessons at age 8. She can play keyboards, rhythm guitar, bass guitar and lots of percussion.
Ann-Mari began singing in choirs, operatic and theatrical performances as a teenager. She joined her first band playing bass and singing punk at age 16. She then began writing songs and performing them at 18.
Anna-Mari has been singing and playing in bands/duos and trios for 30 years on and off. Her most notable performance was as Linda McCartney in Wingspan (a Wings Tribute Band) which played at both The Cavern and The Adelphi.
Recent ventures have included an all-female folk country trio “L’s Angels”, fronting country rockband “Cactus Jack”, singing,playing keys, guitar and percussion with 6 piece function band “Scarlett”. Last year also saw her singing backing vocals and playing bass with 80’s legend Owen Paul (Favourite Waste of Time) and singing backing for the incomparable Beverley Craven (Promise Me). In her spare time she teaches singing, fitness and dance.
